Monthly Reset: Setting Intentions & Tracking Progress
My three R’s to consistently working towards your goals in a way that works for YOU
The end of one month going into the next is my favorite time to reflect on my goals and reset my intentions for the next 28–31 days. So often, we hear about people setting ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ and not too long after, we hear stories of them ‘falling off track’ and giving up altogether. Getting discouraged is very typical, but the important part that people fail to remember is to get back up and try again.
“Reflect, Revise, Re-try”
These are my ‘Three R’s” to stay on track towards my goals and it is a concept that works well on a regular cadence. For me, that cadence is monthly. I take time at the end of each month to reset my intention, check in on my progress, and determine what I need to do to keep moving forward and making progress towards my goals; or change my goals altogether! Let’s dive deeper into each of the three R’s and why they’re important to me.
